On my last trip I woke in the middle of the night and decided to make some hot chocolate. For a year or longer I only brought a small flashlight on my trips, which is not useful for some more spread out light in a tent.
So I decided to look for a lantern, and choosed the Goal Zero Crush Light Chroma (whats with those names!?)
My first impression when I got it was – Hey this is handy. Unfolded, its like a small lamp, which you can hang on a stick or somewhere in your tent, folded it is flat and easy to pack and find room for in your backpack, and it only weighs 91 grams.

It has 3 hooks for hanging and can also be placed on the floor.
The following tests is done after I had it and used it for some time.
Charging
Full charging time: 1h 45m
Solar panel charging: I haven’t had much succes with it, but I only had the lantern in fall / winter time. I wouldn’t rely on solar panel charging. I write an update on this article when I tested it in spring / summer.
Endurance
Tests after full charge:
Lowest light: 36h
Medium light: 9-10h
Full light: 4h
Summary
After over 200 hours of usage I am very pleased with how the battery is holdning up. I suggest always to use the lowest brightness to keep the battery longer; that light is good enough to see stuff in your tent or even read a book.
It takes little space packed, and it seems like a lantern that wont break easily, and is somewhat waterproof (I havent tested that).
Easy to use, no need to read the manual.
If I shall rate it, I will give it 4½ stars.
I am missing a battery indicator.
